BEITBRIDGE Police are investigating a suspected murder of a trucker Dave Mukanganwi (57), allegedly shot by an undocumented South African near Bubi in Zimbabwe.
Mukanganwi’s body was discovered on February 20 2026 in the Bubi area along the Beitbridge–Masvingo Highway.
His attacker allegedly entered Zimbabwe without proper documentation and later boarded Mukanganwi’s truck on the pretext of going to rescue another trucker at Rutenga.
Mukanganwi’s truck was later found parked in a bushy detour, where the deceased’s body was discovered inside.
