The Zimbabwe national football team Warriors, has unveiled its squad for the critical Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers against Kenya and Cameroon. This much-anticipated announcement has brought excitement among fans, especially with the inclusion of forward Tinotenda Kadewere, who missed the previous qualifier due to injury.

The Warriors are set to face Kenya at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on November 15, followed by a challenging encounter against the indomitable Lions of Cameroon. With their eyes on qualification for the AFCON tournament scheduled to be held in Morocco in 2025, the Zimbabwean side is determined to secure at least one point from both matches to cement their place in the finals.

The squad consists of a blend of experienced players and emerging talent, showcasing the depth within Zimbabwean football. Goalkeepers Washington Arubi from Marumo Gallants, Marley Tavaziva from Brentford, and Martin Mapisa provide a solid foundation for the Warriors in goal.

In defense, the team boasts notable names such as Divine Lunga from Mamelodi Sundowns, Gerald Takwara of Al Minaa SC, Munashe Garananga from FC Copenhagen, and Teenage Hadebe of FC Cincinnati. They are joined by local talents Godknows Murwira of Caps United, Emmanuel Jalai from Dynamos, and Jordan Zemura representing Udinese.

The midfield is anchored by Marvelous Nakamba of Luton Town, Marshall Munetsi from Stade de Reims, Andy Rinomhota of Cardiff City, and Richard Hachiro from Ngezi Platinum, each bringing their unique skills to the squad’s dynamics.

Up front, the Warriors will rely on the attacking prowess of Tinotenda Kadewere from FC Nantes, alongside the experienced Khama Billiat of Yadah FC. They are further supported by Tymon Machope from Simba Bhora, Prince Dube of Young Africans, Terrence Dzvukamanja from Supersport United, Tawanda Maswanhise of Motherwell, Daniel Msendami from Marumo Gallants, Walter Musona of Simba Bhora, and Douglas Mapfumo from Polokwane City.

As the team prepares for these crucial encounters, fans across the nation are rallying behind their squad, hopeful for a successful qualification campaign.
