The Zimbabwe Council of Higher Education ( ZIMCHE) has cautioned the public against enrolling at Foreign higher education institutions not accredited with the institution.

In a statement , the council also listed seven foreign universities no longer accredited in Zimbabwe and these are:

Girne American University (Cyprus), Sharda University of India(India), Parul University (India), Near East University, University of Kyrenia, The European University of Lefke and University of Nicosia all of Northern Cyprus.

” We strongly advise members of the public to verify accreditation status of foreign universities they intend to enrol with or consider for their children’s university education. Studying at an unaccredited institution may result in financial loss and have serious implications for one’s academic qualifications and career prospects, ” read the statement.
