A tragic hit and run accident has claimed the life of a 23 year old man in Tsholotsho.The incident occured along an unamed road at Mazibulala Line area of Tsholotsho.
The Zimbabwe Republic of Police(ZRP), has confirmed the accident.
According to police reports, the incident occurred along an unnamed road at Mazibulala Line area. The victim was run over by a donkey-drawn scotch cart and died instantly.
“A 23-year-old man was run over by a donkey-drawn scotch cart and died on the spot.”
The scotch cart did not stop after the accident, leaving the victim’s body on the scene.Police in Tsholotsho have launched an investigation into the fatal accident.
In the wake of this fatal accident, it is imperative that all road users should understand and prioritise the importance of road safety to reduce unnecessary road accidents and loss of life.
