Renowned prophet Ian Ndlovu has issued a striking prediction of a possible coup in Zimbabwe, warning that it could occur before the end of next month.
This forecast comes amid rumours of an escalating power struggle between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy, Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, suggesting a dramatic political showdown may be on the horizon.
Ndlovu’s prophecy follows reports of a secret meeting held this week involving high-ranking security officials and war veterans.
The group’s discussions centered around strategies to thwart Mnangagwa’s attempts to extend his rule beyond his current term, particularly through the controversial #ED2030 agenda.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Ndlovu issued a cryptic but urgent warning.
“We must continue to pray for our nation… Two trains are set to collide. I personally pray for peace for all ordinary Zimbabweans, but change must not be stopped, in whatever form it needs to come,” he stated.
Sources indicate that a powerful faction of military personnel and war veterans, dissatisfied with Mnangagwa’s increasingly authoritarian rule, convened at a secret location in Mashonaland Central.
This province has historically been a stronghold for anti-Mnangagwa sentiments within ZANU-PF and the military, and is infamous for being a hub of political coups.
As Mnangagwa consolidates his power, tensions have intensified with Chiwenga’s loyalists in the military, many of whom believe the Vice President is the rightful heir to the presidency.
This situation mirrors previous power struggles within Zimbabwe’s ruling elite, which have historically led to political upheaval.
In the recent past, Emmanuel Makandiwa issued a stark warning about President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 2030 agenda, stating that those pushing the vision lack foresight.
Makandiwa’s remarks were captured in a viral video circulating on social media, where he criticized the long-term vision as impractical and detached from Zimbabwe’s current political and economic realities.
His prediction follows another prophetic warning last week by Prophet Ian Ndlovu, who suggested that a coup could unfold before the end of next month.
