38 year old Tauya Maguwu has been arrested in connection with a series of unlawful entry and theft cases in Bulawayo.

The suspect is linked to at least seven cases of unlawful entry and theft, with stolen property valued at over $3,500.

“The suspect is clearing seven cases of unlawful entry and theft where household goods worth US$3 500-00 were stolen, including the one which occurred in Nketa, Bulawayo in December 2021 where a laptop, Starlet HD decoder, Q set decoder, two laptop speakers and a radio speaker were stolen,”said Police spokeperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi

Similarly, the suspect is linked to a case of unlawful entry into premises and theft where a Samsung home theatre, three blankets and a 50 inch Samsung Television were stolen at a house in Sizinda on 12th March 2025.

Police has since recovered property worth US$1,900 from the suspect.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police commends the public for providing information that led to the arrest of the suspect.
