All roads lead to Lutumba Crocodile Pub this Saturday as the Beitbridge Music Festival returns.
This year’s line-up features a mix of celebrated and upcoming artists, with well-known performer Bhadilah among the standout names expected to draw strong crowd interest.
Other artists on the bill include Star Danger, DJ Doctor, Lewis Govha, Prince Adrie, DJ Fizzy, Natty B, Christen Mirror, DJ Mgzeet, Sir Pefe, Elder Thomas, Tony Killer, King Washo, Apostle Captain Munyaki, Limpopo Pogba, Vince the Small, Kopo Dem, Charks SA, Hermish Cheya, as well as gospel and worship acts such as Zivavorse Worship Crew, Art of Worship Choir, and Defeat The Vocalist.
The annual festival, which started in 2024, is not only a key platform for showcasing local musical talent but is also aimed at promoting a strong anti-substance abuse message among young people as it has now been a cause for concern.
It is organised by Donzvo Entertainment and is expected to continue running in the coming years as part of a long-term youth empowerment initiative.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Donzvo Entertainment Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shimron Sibanda said the festival continues to grow in both size and impact.
“The Beitbridge Music Festival is a premier annual event that showcases the vibrant talents of local musicians while promoting a critical message: ‘Empowering Youths, One Beat at a Time,’” he said.
Sibanda said the initiative is designed to give young people a platform to express themselves through music while encouraging them to avoid substance abuse.
“This youth-led initiative has become a beacon of hope in the fight against substance abuse. We are using music as a tool to inspire, educate, and uplift young people,” he said.
This year’s edition will feature a number of local artists, DJs, and gospel groups who are expected to light up the stage at Lutumba.
The lineup includes performers from Beitbridge and surrounding areas, with organisers promising an energetic showcase of talent and culture.
Among those expected to perform are well-known local acts and upcoming artists, alongside gospel groups and DJs, creating a diverse entertainment experience for attendees.
Sibanda said the festival is not only about entertainment but also about creating a safe space for youth development.
“We want young people to express themselves, build their talent, and connect with others who are focused on positive change,” he said.
Scheduled for 25 April 2026, the festival is expected to draw large crowds as music lovers from across Beitbridge and beyond converge in Lutumba for a day of performances, community engagement, and awareness activities.
Organisers say preparations are already underway to ensure a successful event that continues to grow the Beitbridge Music Festival into a signature annual celebration of youth, music, and positive change.
