THE Beitbridge Business Expo has invited entrepreneurs, investors and key decision-makers to register for exhibition stands ahead of the event scheduled for July 2-4, 2026, at Dulibadzimu Stadium.
Organised in partnership with the Municipality of Beitbridge, the expo aims to promote innovation, encourage the exchange of ideas and foster sustainable solutions for the corporate market.
The event is expected to attract participants from various sectors, including agriculture, freight and logistics.
Agricultural exhibitors, particularly those involved in poultry production, are expected to showcase their products and services following recent growth in the local poultry industry.
Freight and logistics companies are also being encouraged to register and participate in the exhibition, which is expected to provide networking and business development opportunities.
Speaking on preparations for the event, Business Expo chairman Nqobile Ncube said organisers had made significant progress.
“We are halfway done with preparations for the exhibition and we are yet to confirm our guest of honour for the event,” he said.
Mr Ncube also provided an update on the proposed showground development project linked to the expo.
“We have managed to clear the 13-hectare piece of land, drill a borehole and establish a caretaker facility to facilitate workers.”
“Main construction is expected to begin next year after the completion of the Business Expo,” he said.
Mr Ncube also said, the revenue statistics from the Business Expo over the past four years will be announced after this year’s edition through a public statement.
In a comment, Town Clerk, Lloyd Ramaqgapola said their readiness and progress as an entrusted partner on the event.
“We have already engaged ZIFA with a request to reschedule matches at the Dulibadzimu stadium which will be the venue of the event to accommodate the business expo.”
In addition to business exhibitions, the expo will feature sporting activities, including a darts tournament and a pool tournament.
Organisers have opened registration for participants interested in competing in the games.
