BEITBRIDGE Colour Festival is set to host its second edition at Hydro Haven on August 29, 2026, from 10am to 8pm.

Running under the theme “Painting the Town with Happiness,”the festival aims to give residents an opportunity to run, walk and have fun while promoting community interaction.

The event will feature participants racing with coloured paints, creating an atmosphere centred on entertainment, unity and social interaction among residents.

MC Miano and a surprise DJ set are expected to entertain attendees during the festival.

Event coordinator Petronella Mudyahoto said the organisers were encouraged by the support received during the first edition.

“The first edition of the Colour Run Festival was not what we expected in terms of the number of people attending the event,” she said.

“This time, we are certain that, with the belief attendees showed in us during the first edition, they will show up in large numbers,” she said.

She also said the festival also seeks to create a networking platform where influencers, artists and other creatives can interact.

“It is also an event which will keep youths off the streets, as it is a family-bonding function enabling community bonding,” she said.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, event host MC Miano said the festival would provide an opportunity for creatives to connect.

“As creatives meet, we look forward to a day of social connectivity and brand affiliation opportunities for the Beitbridge industry to grow and become competitive like the Harare team,” he said.

As the event approaches, Beitbridge creatives and families are encouraged to take part in the festival.
