THE Beitbridge social soccer fratenity has been plunged into mourning following the passing of Chikomo FC player Mboneni Ncube.

The secratariat of the Social Soccer League announced Ncube’s passing in a message broadcast to all teams on the social media platforms.

“It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the unfortunate passing of Mboneni Ncube of Chikomo FC, who collapsed at his homestead near Busy Curve this morning,” said the jotice.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Ncube family, friends, and the entire Chikomo FC community during this difficult time. We appeal to the BSSL community to join hands with the Ncube family and Chikomo FC in offering support, prayers, and solidarity as they mourn this great loss.”

The secretariat asked all Social League clubs to pay a minimum of R100 as per the league’s Bereavement Policy.

“Further details regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” said the secretariat.

Several Beitbridge residents paid their homage to Ncube ordinatily addressed by his first name among his peers .
