BEITBRIDGE Police are investigating a suspected murder after a man was found dead close to Club De Voyage in Beitbridge at the Dulivhadzimu Bus Terminus.
Other unconfirmed reports say a man has already handed himself to the police in connection with the suspected murder.
Preliminary information gathered at the scene, it is believed the deceased may have been killed after asking for payment for his small bundle of cooking firewood.
This has however, not yet been officially confirmed by police.
A crowd gathered at the scene as police await a forensic team from Bulawayo to examine the area and determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Investigations are ongoing, and more details will be released as they become available.
