Businessman Joseph “Mutangazi” Mutangadura has reportedly been shot dead at his Lisheen Estate farmhouse in Ruwa shortly after midnight.
According to sources, Mutangadura was attacked by suspected robbers at his residence and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mutangadura was a well-known entrepreneur in Ruwa and the surrounding areas, with business interests ranging from butcheries to entertainment venues. He owned Lisheen Estate, Mutangadura Hideout, and several butcheries across the district.
Investigators are said to be working to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing. Police have not disclosed whether any property was stolen during the attack or identified possible suspects.
A full investigation is reportedly underway, with further details expected to be released in due course.
Mutangadura’s death has sent shockwaves through the Ruwa community, where he was regarded as a prominent figure in both business and social circles.
