DETECTIVES at Beitbridge on Friday stealthily brought Daniel Chamisa aka Madzibaba Wislodge to the Magistrates Court where a warrant for his further detention was granted.
The name of the magistrate who granted the warrant was kept under wraps, at least for people who were at the courts, including other court officials.
As usual, Matabeleland South Polices spokesperson Inspector Chiratidzo Dube, promised calling back with details but never came forth.
But Ziyah News Network will authoritatively confirm Chamisa, facing allegations of car theft, and further suspected of murdering Ashton Manga, a money changer, indeed was brought to court.
In the midmorning Chamisa, clad in a white trousers, alighted a white tinted Nissan AD Van car registration AGO 8954 with two detectives.
They escorted him to the prosecutors offices where he was for almost an hour.
While reporters awaited his appearance, Chamisa may have been taken to the chambers where his warrant for further detention may have been granted.
Soon after that, discreetly, police drove him out in the same car that brought him.
“We expected him in the remand court as usual,” a court official told a member of Madzibaba Wislodge’s church who came looking for him.
