CORRECTIONAL Kings FC has announced open trials as it prepares to strengthen its squad ahead of its debut in the Zifa Matabeleland South Division 2 league.

The team belongs to the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) Matabeleland South.

It is seeking to blend professional discipline with local football talent as it builds a competitive side for the upcoming season.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, ZPCS provincial public relations officer Terrence Tikiti said the trials are open to both ZPCS officers and civilians who wish to showcase their skills and earn a place in the team.

The selection process will take place this weekend, with the club aiming to establish itself strongly in Division 2 and use the Gwanda Prison ground as its home fortress for the season.

Trials are scheduled for Saturday, 07 February 2026, starting at 0900hrs, at St Christopher Primary School Grounds in Gwanda.

All aspiring players are expected to come fully prepared with complete training gear, a personal water bottle, and valid identification such as a National ID or passport, which will be required for age verification and registration.
