THE 2025 NASH U17 champions, Zezani High School, will defend their title at competitions scheduled to kick off on Thursday, July 30, 2026, hosted by Mzilikazi High School in Bulawayo.
Matabeleland South representatives and reigning champions Zezani High School will face Masvingo provincial champions Pamushana and Mashonaland West side Rudziwi in Group C.
Fellow Matabeleland South representatives Phakamani will play against Midlands side Cheziya High and Mashonaland Central side Herman High School in Group D.
Harare Province’s Prince Edward will play against Bulawayo side Nkulumane and Matabeleland North side John Landa Secondary.
Hosts Mzilikazi High will play against Mashonaland East side Kwenda High School and Manicaland champions St Martha’s Tsonzo High School.
In an interview with Ziyah News Network, Zezani High School coach George Mageleza said he expects the boys to show up as always and try to defend their title.
“It’s not going to be easy to play against Pamushana and Rudziwi but I expect the team to show up as usual and defend the title,” Mageleza said.
Last year in 2025, Zezani High School U17 won the title after a remarkable record of 9 victories and 1 defeat.
The Beitbridge side defeated Gutu High 5-3 on penalties to secure the national title in the final in 2025.
