Renowned Zimdancehall producer DJ Fantan, born Arnold Kamudyariwa, has launched a public appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of his ex-wife, Gamuchirai Nemukuyu, and their two young children, who have been missing since March 5.
Nemukuyu and the children six-year-old Rufaro Kamudyariwa and five-year-old Ruvheneko Kamudyariwa were last seen in Mbare.
Recent information has led Kamudyariwa to believe that Nemukuyu may have been planning to leave Zimbabwe with the children, despite lacking the necessary travel documents.
In a heartfelt plea, Kamudyariwa expressed his deep concern for their safety.
“We are extremely worried about the safety of all, especially the minor children. Anyone who has information about their whereabouts, please report to any nearest police station in Zimbabwe,” he stated.
For those with leads, Kamudyariwa has provided his contact details as well as those of the children’s grandmother, Edith Katiyo.
He confirmed that a missing persons report has been filed with the police as the search for the family continues.
