Dulibadzimu United will battle Kwekwe United on match day 11 of the Central Region Soccer League Division One at Baghdad Stadium on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.
Following their unimpressive 3-1 defeat to Shabanie Mine, Dulibadzimu United will be aiming to bounce back when they face the in-form Kwekwe United side.
The Beitbridge side Dulibadzimu is currently on the 15th position, having registered two wins, three draws, and five defeats. They sit just two points above the relegation zone, making every point crucial as the season progresses.
The Dulibadzimu United – Kwekwe fixture will not be an easy one as Kwekwe United have enjoyed an impressive campaign so far and currently sit fourth on the table with 20 points from 10 matches. Their record of six wins, two draws, and two defeats highlights their consistency and determination in the race for promotion and the league title.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, a former Dulibadzimu United coach Stanley “Stano” Ncube who is now Kwekwe United’s assistant coach said he knows what to expect from his old side and his team will be prepared for the battle.
“Preparations have been good as usual, only that we are playing Dulibadzimu, my former team, so I know how they play, their organisation in defence and attack, and the danger they pose,” Ncube said.
Kwekwe United trail league leaders Chapungu FC by six points and will be looking to keep the pressure on the teams above them with another strong performance.
As the two sides prepare for battle, the match presents different ambitions. Kwekwe United will be targeting maximum points to strengthen their top four position, while Dulibadzimu United will be fighting for survival and seeking a much needed turnaround in fortunes.
Dulibadzimu United technical team and executives refused to comment as has been their latest stance.
