DULIBADZIMU United goalkeeper Prince Mujuru has scooped the ZIFA Central Region Diviion One Goal keeper of The Month after making it seven out of seven without going into his nets.
Mujuru with his imposing figure has helped his team Dulis leap out of the relegation zone safely protecting his goal area and dishing out precise service in his arm throws and drop kicks.
Nicknamed “Spiderman” the firmly built keeper who joined the Beitbridge side during the window period has become the crowd favourite in Beitbridge’s theatre of soccer and came as no surprise when he became the chosen one.
“Dulibadzimu United FC is delighted to congratulate our goalkeeper, Prince Mujuru, on being named the Central Region Soccer League Goalkeeper of the Month,” Dulibadzimu United said in a congratulatory statement Sunday.
“Prince’s outstanding performances between the posts saw him record an impressive seven clean sheets, playing a crucial role in the team’s defensive efforts. Affectionately known as the “Spiderman” and the “Fresh Prince of Beitbridge,” Prince has consistently demonstrated commitment, determination and excellence throughout the month,” said Dulibadzimu United.
The team which has been enjoying a fresh chapter in their 2026 season after a disastrous start said it is proud of this achievement and the recognition it said brings joy to both Prince and the Dulibadzimu United family.
