A head on collision between a Glen View High 2 bus and another one belonging to Mandaza bus company has killed two people on the spot, leaving scores injured.
The accident occured near PaGango truck stop about 40 kilometres on the Harare Masvingo Highway.
Details surrounding the crash are yet to be ascertained.
The accident comes hard on the heels of a national disaster declared crash between an Urban Connect bus and a Haulage Truck near the Lutumba tollgate on the Masvingo Beitbridge highway on Thursday morning which has 25 confirmed fatalities.
Whilst the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development has put in place a requirement for speed limits on public service buses , critics have pointed out that enforcement is lacking leading to speeding. What is surprising is the Harare to Masvingo to Beitbridge highway has several roadblocks.
