Renowned Zimbabwean gospel musician, Dorcas Moyo, known for her chart-topping songs like Haakotsire and albums such as Mhanza Haisekwe has been gifted with a luxurious brand new 2025 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 by business man Wicknell Chivayo after being insulted and harassed on social media after posting her song written Ranganai Henyu Asi Zvichakona.
The post sparked outrage among Zimbabweans, who began accusing Dorcas Moyo of politicizing her content as it came in the wake of planned protest fronted by ZANU-PF outcast politician Blessed Geza. .
Mama Moyo as the artist is affectionately called by her fans was harassed and insulted on social media for her post but she chose to remain silent and avoid engaging with the controvesy.
The controversy arose as Bombshell Geza introduced the M31 movement, urging citizens to protest until President Emmerson Mnangagwa steps down.
Businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo posted on his twitter expressing that he was hurt by online insults against Dorcas Moyo.
“I was deeply hurt by the online insults against Dorcas Moyo, for simply posting her chart-topping gospel song, released more than 5 YEARS ago,” said Chivayo.
He further congratulated Moyo on her exceptional talent and contributions to the gospel music industry.
“In recognition of your exceptional talent and contributions in the gospel music industry, I want to say a big Congratulations to Dorcas Moyo”
Sir Wicknell even went as far as to offer rewoned musician a brand-new 2025 Toyota Fortuner fully paid for and $20,000 in cash for Petrol.
