AFTER two months of renovations, Konka Hub will reopen on Saturday, July 25, with Kae Chaps headlining the official reopening show.

Located at Emlast Garage, the nightclub returns under new management following extensive renovations.

The reopening event will feature Harare-born musician Kudakwashe Chapepa, popularly known as Kae Chaps, who rose to fame with his 2021 hit Juzi.

MC Kay One, DJ Teddy and Vic Gee are also billed to perform.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, event coordinator Teddy Malungisa said the renovations were a hands-on project for the entertainment team.

“We want to prove that Deejaying can go beyond just standing on the decks. We were involved in the renovations, designing how we wanted our club to look,” he said.

Malungisa also said, the club is now under new management.

“The club now has new management, popularly known as Sassy, and myself being part of the entertainment management,” he said.

Kae Chaps’ manager, Napoleon Makamba described the performance as the artist’s first appearance in Beitbridge.

“This is our first time performing in Beitbridge, and whenever we visit a new city, our goal is to leave a lasting impression,” he said.

He also said, Kae Chaps is eager to connect with local audiences.

“Performing in Beitbridge is an opportunity to connect with new fans and create lasting memories. He is looking forward to the reception from the local residents,” he said.
