The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has fined Hardrock FC and Dynamos FC after finding both clubs guilty of offences linked to the abandoned Castle Lager PSL match at Chahwanda Stadium on 24 May.

According to PSL updates, The league also ordered the remaining minutes of the Matchday 14 fixture to be replayed behind closed doors at a neutral venue under PSL protocols.

Hardrock FC was fined US$10,000, with US$2,000 of the penalty suspended on condition that the club commits no similar offence for the rest of the season.

The club was also ordered to play one home match behind closed doors.

Hardrock must also submit a revised Match Security Management Plan to the PSL Chief Executive Officer within 30 days.

The disciplinary committee found the home club guilty of pitch invasion, violence, improper conduct, disrupting the match and failing to provide adequate security.

Dynamos FC was fined US$10,000 after being found guilty of pitch invasion, violence, improper conduct, disrupting the match and malicious damage to the perimeter fence.

The Harare giants were ordered to submit a formal crowd management plan within 30 days.

Dynamos must also file a written report after every away match for the remainder of the season.

Hardrock FC chief executive officer Kudzanai Hove was suspended from all football-related activities for the rest of the 2026 season.

Hove was also fined US$5,000 after being found guilty of disorderly conduct, pitch invasion and violent behaviour.
