Dulibadzimu United secured a narrow 1-0 victory against debutants Grain Tigers in the Central Region Soccer League yesterday.
Following their 1-0 victory against the Airman of Chapungu, Dulivhadzimu United managed to outwit Grain Tigers 1-0 to secure back to back victories at home.
Dulibadzimu United were in the driving seat for the majority of the first half, especially after minute 15 of the stanza.
Grain Tigers ’sTigiriwi Wallace attempted to threaten Dulibadzimu ‘s defense on the wing, but the home team was well-organised to deal with the danger.
The two sides went Into the halftime break with nothing separating them, but with the Beitbridge outfit having been the better team after the first 45 minutes.
On the 85th minute, Benedict Sithole broke the dead lock with a stunner of a strike from about 35 yards to secure three points for the Beitbridge outfit.
The Beitbridge side will look to maintain their momentum, as they prepare to face Bishopstone in two weeks time in a Beitbridge derby.
