South African ‘s Under 20 national team is set to face Tanzania’s U20 in match day 2 of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt at 1700hours today.
Following their 1-0 defeat against hosts Egypt in the opening match, South Africa’s Amajita are looking forward to redeem themselves by securing a victory. Meanwhile, Tanzania ‘s Ngorongoro boys will be playing their first match of the competition and will want to kick start the campaign in style.
The teams have played against each other only once in 2011 and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In another notable fixture, hosts Egypt will battle Sierra Leone at 2000hours tonight.
After their 1-0 victory over South Africa, the Egyptians will be hoping to secure maximum points and remain on top of the group A. While Sierra Leone will vying for a win following a 0-0 stalemate against COSAFA side Zambia in their opening match.
