The plushy suburbs boast of thick and bushy areas that are home to monkeys and some baboons which residents fear have been attracting the wild animals.
Cases of wild animals straying into residential areas have become common, with the recent one being a lion that patrolled the Macheke area. Zimparks has however been proactive in dealing with the threats and warning residents whenever such cases have been reported.
