Millicent Chimonyo, known as Maloti, was allegedly stripped and humiliated by brothers of Hwinza’s current girlfriend yesterday. Images of Maloti in ripped clothing have circulated widely on social media, fuelling outrage and concern.
The confrontation reportedly stemmed from a previous altercation where Hwinza’s girlfriend claimed Maloti attacked her out of jealousy over their new relationship.
The girlfriend sustained head injuries during the incident and required medical attention.
However Maloti has denied the allegations, claiming she was not even in town during the supposed attack.
“I cannot be responsible for actions I did not commit,” she remarked in her defense.
