London-based Zimbabwean socialite Moira Knight has broken her silence on rumours circulating on social media accusing her of infecting her ex-partner Zimdancehall star Seh Calaz, with HIV.
The rumours were sparked by a picture of Seh Calaz having lost weight attributed to severe ulcers but some social media users went in to speculate it was HIV contrary to what the musician had said. Inevitably it linked the presumed sickness to former partner Moira Knight who is the daughter of former radio, television personality and politician Eric Knight.
The accusation ignited a heated a response from Moira Knight who went on to post her Hiv results.
“It’s just that if you don’t know me personally, just looking at my pictures alone, you’ll go ahead and say, ‘Oh she’s a baddie. But to say that I have a disease or that I gave someone a disease, I deny it! It’s entirely impossible. How can I give what I don’t have? I’ve heard the accusations but I don’t have any disease and I won’t take one. Born HIV negative and I’ll die negative. I thank you, ” said Moira.
Knight was engaged to Seh Calaz in 2016, and they divorced in 2020. Moira Knight and Seh Calaz have a son together, Treasure Winter Mumanyi, who was born on March 9, 2020.
People have been accusing Moira of allegedly infecting Seh Calaz with HIV. This comes after Zimdancehall Star artist Seh Calaz revealed that he hasn’t been feeling well for quite some time and he is struggling with severe ulcers.
