Social media has erupted in a storm of reactions after a viral video captured rapper Nadia Nakai getting particularly cosy with fellow artist Cassper Nyovest at a popular nightclub.

The incident, which unfolded in the presence of Cassper’s wife, Pulane, has ignited intense debate online, with opinions sharply divided.

In the now-viral clip, Nadia is seen embracing Cassper and being unquestionably affectionate while performing her hit song “Naa Meaan.”

Pulane, who sat nearby during the impromptu performance, appeared visibly uncomfortable, a fact that has not gone unnoticed by fans and social media users alike.

Nadia Nakai and Cassper Nyovest share a complex history; the two artists collaborated under Cassper’s label, Family Tree Records, before she left the label and later dated late rapper AKA, who had a notorious rivalry with Cassper.
This backstory adds layers to the current controversy, raising questions about the boundaries of personal relationships in the music industry.

The atmosphere turned even more charged when Nadia addressed Pulane directly in the video, stating, “Shout out to Pulane in the building,” a remark many interpreted as a tactless jab given the circumstances.

Following the video’s viral spread, fans have taken to social media to express their outrage on Pulane’s behalf. Many users criticized Nadia’s actions as disrespectful, calling attention to what they perceive as a dismissal of personal boundaries and basic decency.

“It’s just wrong to act that way in front of someone’s spouse,” one user commented, while another stated, “Pulane deserves more respect.”

Conversely, some fans have rushed to Nadia’s defense, arguing that her behavior was simply part of a performance.

“It’s showbiz! They were just having fun, and it doesn’t mean anything,” a supporter remarked.

This divide has sparked a broader discussion about the nature of celebrity relationships and the expectations placed on figures in the public eye.
