Premier Soccer league debutants, Mwos FC  suffered their first defeat of the season over the weekend courtesy of Ngezi Platinum.

Prior to their 3-1 loss, the Punters had gone on a 16 game unbeaten run.

In the 4 goal thrilling match, Mwos had created chances from the onset which they wasted, while Ngezi looked threatening on the counter, yielding better results.

A 3-1 defeat to Ngezi Platinum saw  Mwos FC drop to  second position with 34 points, 1 point behind the log leaders, Simba Bhora, the defending champions who reclaimed the top spot after a narrow 1-0 victory against Yadah FC.

Elsewhere Triangle FC  effortlessly thrashed Green fuel in a six goal thriller which had the Sugar boys as the biggest winners of the weekend.

Triangle FC’s extraordinary 5-1 victory against Green Fuel took them a step away from relegation zone and brought smiles to their home fans.

Despite being threatened by the relegation dagger, Triangle FC is amongst the teams that have  scored the most  goals this season, with 19 goals in 17 matches. Only Simba Bhora with 21, Mwos with 22 and TelOne with 20 have scored more than Triangle.
