SOUTH AFRICAN based artist Stanley Sigebe, popularly known as Proheed, is set to return to Lutumba, Beitbridge on October 31, 2026.

The Niani village born musician previously performed at Matshiloni in early June.

His return has been welcomed by fans, with the Ndebele expression “Ingoma emnandi iyapindwa,” meaning a good song deserves a repeat, aptly describing the occasion.

Proheed has been enjoying a strong run in his music career, particularly with his wedding songs catalogue and his million-streamed song, “This Feeling.”

The song celebrates couples and carries a message of mutual love, commitment and affection, appreciated by fans who speak diverse languages that includes Shona, Ndebele, Sotho audience.

His other popular tracks include“Ndi Pota Ngafhi,” “Machips,” and “Mjolo ndi Scam.”

He has also released several projects, including Mafunoni na Mugowoni, Muholo, There’s Still Hope, and Valentine Ya Everyday.

In 2014, Proheed was nominated for a South African Traditional Music Award (SATMA) for Best Vernacular Hip-Hop.

Beyond music, Proheed has established the Proheed Acting Agency, an acting academy that has worked with prominent actors, including Muvhango actress Mahuwa Maumela, known for her role as Susan.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Proheed said performing in Zimbabwe again was an honour and a sign of progress in his career.

“It’s a big honour being part of the October line-up in Zimbabwe.

“It shows progress towards the work we are putting in, performing at regional shows twice in a year.”

He also invited residents saying Beitbridge and surrounding areas should attend his coming show.

“I invite Beitbridge to come and experience a great night of music, social interaction and finding love as well,” he said.

Event coordinator Adam Langa Langa described Proheed as one of the leading musicians representing Tshivenda music at national level.

“Proheed is one of the greatest musicians to ever represent Tshivenda music at a national level,” he said.

“I believe Beitbridge will have a good time vibing to his love songs and celebrating relationships,” he said.

Lutumba based DJs Mrex and Doctor are also set to join the line-up, with the two DJs expected to keep attendees entertained throughout the event.
