Excitement is building in Beitbridge as Zimbabwean musician Feli Nandi is set to perform at the grand opening of Ndlovukazi Recreational Centre on October 27, 2026.
The new recreational centre, formerly known as PaGomo leisure Park, is located next to the Beitbridge Border Post and will host the grand opening event.
Based in Harare, Feli Nandi, born Felistus Winnie Chipendo, began her musical career as a backing vocalist for Mbeu Mhodzi Band in 2017.
She launched her solo career in 2020 and collaborated with Trevor Dongo on the song Mufudzi Wemombe.
She has since established herself as a prominent musician, known for her powerful vocals and energetic stage presence.
Her popular songs include Ndoona Iwe, Munhu Wangu and Mubayi, which have helped strengthen her radio and digital following.
Feli Nandi has received several accolades, including Best Female Artist at the Zimbabwe Music Awards and Outstanding Female Musician at the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA).
In August 2026, she reached another career milestone when she filled the Harare International Conference Centre during her one-woman show.
Speaking on the upcoming performance, Feli Nandi’s management representative, Connie Mazani, said the singer was looking forward to her Beitbridge debut.
“Feli Nandi is ready and excited about her first debut performance in Beitbridge, and she has got her A-game ready to deliver,” she said.
“As a team, including the band, we can’t wait to invite the whole town to brace itself for good music, a night of fun and celebrity interaction through back-to-back sing-alongs featuring her hit songs.”
Event organiser Pauline Ndlovukazi said the grand opening would offer entertainment for people of different ages.
“As the grand opening approaches, we can promise lots of excitement, from music and refreshments to kids’ games, including jumping castles, inflatable pools and more to be revealed on the day,” she said.
The entertainment line-up will also feature reggae musician Ras Caleb, who is expected to bring a reggae atmosphere to the event.
Resident disc jockeys and influencer Dylan Dawson will entertain the crowd before Feli Nandi takes to the stage.
As the date approaches, Beitbridge is preparing for an evening of music and entertainment as Feli Nandi makes her first performance in the border town.
