The latest beneficiary of a businessman Wicknell Chivhayo’s spending spree on artist, Ras Caleb, is alleged to have failed to drive away in his gifted car as the musician has no licence.
In a leaked WhatsApp message, the man tasked with handing over the car to Ras Caleb, Madzibaba Chipaga says ‘Ras Caleb has no licence, he went away with the 2000 dollars but we are safe keeping his car’.
Ras Caleb was rewarded by Chivhayo after he recently released a single in which he showered praises on the newly released Zimbabwe gold currency ZiG.
This did not escape Zanu PF supporter Wicknell Chivayo who gifted him with a new vehicle ostensibly for being patriotic.
“What a wonderful song this is. Congratulations, Ras Caleb. Your Toyota Aqua is ready for collection. Madzibaba Chipaga will also give you TWO thousand United States dollars. This level of unmatched patriotism is impressive and can’t be ignored,” read a statement from Chivhayo.
