American hip-hop artist Rick Ross is set to return to South Africa to headline the Durban Music Fest on May 3 at the Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium.
The festival, organized by Blue Screen Entertainment, will feature a star-studded lineup of local and international artists, including DJ Tira, DJ Sox, Gatheni, Mawhoo, Dlala Thukzin, and Blxckie.
Ross, known for his hit song “Aston Martin Music”, expressed his excitement about returning to South Africa, saying “South Africa’s energy and culture are unmatched. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with my fans and putting on a show they won’t forget.”
The rapper is expected to deliver an electrifying performance, which will be a highlight of the festival.
According to event organizers, the Durban Music Fest aims to celebrate the power of music in uniting people across cultures.
The festival is part of a larger effort to bridge South African and African American music, with five major international events planned for the year.
