Retired Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) officer Colonel Claudius William Makova has died. He passed away yesterday early in the morning following a short illness.
The cause of the death is unknown.
According to the reports, Colonel Makova had been receiving treatment at Hippo Valley Hospital, where he was recently discharged before his condition suddenly deteriorated.
His death was confirmed by his nephew, Mr Mac Makova.
He was a former Member of Parliament for Bikita West.
The late was as a key ally of former Vice President Mujuru’s , alongside Comrade Kudakwashe Bhasikiti and Kudakwashe Gopo, in 2014.
Mourners are currently gathered at the family home in Chiredzi to pay their respects.Funeral arrangements are yet to be finalised and will be announced in due course.
