Just a couple of days after the demise of Winnie Khumalo, the South African music industry has been plunged into mourning once again, this time after losing another legendary musician in Kwaitio star Victor Bogopane, popularly known as Doc Shebeleza.
According to SABC news, the Kwaito renowned artist had been hospitalized and underwent surgery in December, sadly he has now passed away at his home in Fairlands, Johannesburg . He was 51
Doc Shebeleza is famous known for hits including “Ebumnandini” and “Getsa Getsa” which made him a musical icon and a cultural icon.
In 2018, Doc Shebeleza received a lifetime Kwaito genre achievement award at the third annual Kwaito Mzansi and House Music Awards. In 2014 Shebeleza was regarded as the most gifted male and the most gifted southern artist on Chanell O Music Video Awards.
