Sonja Madzikanda, the Ex-wife of businessman Wicknell Chivayo, has ignited a heated debate on social media following the viral spread of a video featuring her in a two-piece swimsuit.
The clip, recorded during her vacation in Vietnam, has drawn mixed reactions, with opinions sharply divided over her choice of attire.
The video, shared on Madzikanda’s official Instagram account, showcases her wearing a black swimsuit that reveals her stomach, thighs, and shoulders as she poses in front of a bathroom mirror.
Almost immediately, social media users began circulating screenshots from the video, prompting an avalanche of commentary.
Critics were quick to take issue with Madzikanda’s outfit. One detractor shared the images alongside a message condemning her choice, stating, “All I can say is this is wrong respect yourself, in-laws, and your relatives, all this to spite Wicknell. ”
This sentiment resonated with some, who echoed concerns over appropriateness and familial respect.
However, many supporters rushed to Madzikanda’s defense, arguing that her outfit is suitable for a holiday setting.
One user pointed out, “When you spread pics without context, this was in Vietnam getting ready to go swimming with her kids.”
The video, which was posted shortly after her ex-husband’s announcement of marrying another woman less than seven months after their divorce, led many people to perceive Sonja as an attention seeker.
