Scottland FC President and Mabvuku-Tafara legislator Pedzai “Scott” Sakupwanya is inviting aspiring nurse aides to apply for a specialized training program under the Pedzisai Sakupwanya Skills Development Trust.

In an announcement made on his official X account on Tuesday, 8 April, Sakupwanya revealed plans to enroll candidates in a two-month course set to commence on 22 April.

The initiative aims to provide participants with essential healthcare skills, covering areas such as patient care, basic medical procedures, communication techniques, hygiene and safety, as well as home-based care.

Trainees will also gain valuable practical experience through attachments at various facilities, including Council Hospitals in Mabvuku-Tafara, Chitungwiza Polyclinic, Army Barrack Hospitals, and Scottland Hospital, also located in Mabvuku-Tafara.

Citizens have welcomed this initiative and commended Scott Sakupwanya for his continuous support of Mabvuku residents, noting his previous contributions, such as the construction of a clinic in the area.

However, Sakupwanya did not specify whether the training program is free or if there will be any associated costs for successful applicants.
