Harare-Scottland FC has made history by becoming first football club in Zimbabwe to own its own ambulance as the ambitious Northern Region Soccer League outfit continuous to mound itself into a professional outfit whose standards are in line with latest trends in the world’s most beautiful game.

The ambulance will provide top medical care for Scottland FC players and the community of Mabvuku too. The investment by the Mabvuku based outfit goes a long way into ensuring player safety.

Most teams plying their trade in the second tier of Zimbabwean football cannot afford to hire an ambulance and most matches are played without one due to financial constrains making the feat by Scottland worthwhile.

Recently, a player was seriously injured during the Tongogara FC vs Sheasham match in the Central Region soccer League and there was no ambulance in sight. A military bus had to be used to rush the player to the hospital for timely medical attention.

The Professionalisation of Scottland FC supports Sakupwanya’s vision for the club, which  is to empower young people through football, fostering positive growth and diverting them from harmful influences.
