Sekhukhune United cruised past Muhshin Ertugral ‘s Capetown City by 2 goals to nil in the Nedbank Cup last 32 at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The Babina Banoko boys booked their place in the last 16 round in style after displaying a measured performance against Capetown City at home.
On minute 57th. 28 year old midfielder Katlego Otladisa, broke the dead lock with a stunning long range goal that gave Sekhukhune the lead. On the 70th minute, 30 year Relebogile Mokhuoane sealed the party with the second goal condemning Capetown City to 2 nil defeat.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sipho Mbule famous known as Master chef played a crucial role helping the team defeat Capetown and he was named the man of the match.
Cape Town City struggled to find their rhythm early on and created few scoring opportunities. Despite their efforts, they failed to find a consolation goal.
Sekhukhune will be waiting confirm their next opponet for the round of 16 in the near future while it is the end of road for Cape Town City and Muhshin Ertugral .
