Egypt- Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations reigning champions, Senegal display a super dominant performance as they put 6 goals past debutant Mauritania to secure their 8th title in Egypt.
The Lions of Teranga have become the most successful nation in the CAF BSAFCON history setting a record of defending the title 5 times alongside achieving their eighth championship.
In defending their title, the Lions of Teranga have shown that their party will not be stopping soon as they achieved their goals and expectations of reclaiming and defending their kingship of being the best Beach Soccer nation in the African continent in style.
Despite suffering a 6-1 defeat at the hands of the Senegalese, debutant Mauritania has written its name in the history of Beach soccer books .the debutant nation reached the BSAFCON final on their first ever appearance.
Elsewhere, host Egypt suffered a 3-4 loss to Morocco the Atlas lions came from behind to beat the host Egypt and claim the bronze medal.Regardless of their loss, the Egyptians won the BSAFCON 2024 fair play team, with their goalkeeper Mohamed Elsayed crowned the best goalkeeper.
