BEITBRIDGE’s Summit Guest House has for the second year running named the Overall Best Exhibitor at the Beitbridge Business Expo 2026.
Summit Lodge clinched the award last year.
The first runner up was taken by 2024 winner Department of Veterinary Services while the Grain Marketing Board came third.
Best Small Enterprise category was taken by Phantom CPAS.
The awards were presented Saturday, at the closing ceremony of the expo that brought together more than 120 exhibitors showcasing products and services.
The Beitbridge Bussiness Expo has become one of the border town’s biggest annual business events.
Among the 120 plus exhibitors, Summit Guest House stood out for its presentation, service delivery, and community engagement, securing the Overall Best Exhibitor award after also winning it in 2025.
While the Department of Veterinary Services finished as runners-up in the Overall Best Exhibitor category, behind Summit Guest House.
In an interview with Ziyah News Network, after receiving the award, Summit Guest House owner Tichaona Mushipe said the back to back win was proof that the business is on the right track.
“This is proof that we are moving in the right direction. We are proud to be named the overall best exhibitors in Beitbridge ,” Mushipe said.
He said that the Beitbridge Business Expo has been instrumental in connecting them with other businesses over the years.
He noted that this year’s award is particularly special because it was also judged by fellow exhibitors, which he said it reflects the impact Summit has had within the Beitbridge business community.
“This award is special because our our fellow exhibitors also publicly endorsed us as the outstanding business exhibiter. That shows we are making an impact not just with customers, but with our peers as well,” Mushipe said.
Summit’s journey at the expo has been one of steady growth. In 2022, the lodge finished as first runner-up in the Accommodation Facility of the Year category, where Mutsa Lodge emerged as winner and Blue Villa Lodge took second runner-up.
Four years later, Summit has gone from category contender to the overall best in the entire expo.
The 2026 Beitbridge Bussiness expo attracted more than 120 exhibitors, including more than 20 first-time exhibitors, demonstrating the event’s growing appeal.
