Dulibadzimu United suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against last season’s runner ups Tongogara in match day 7 of the Central Region Soccer League Division One over the weekend.
Following its 1-1 against ZRP Gwanda, the Beitbridge outfit seems to be losing steam it followed that one up with the 1-0 against Tongogara away from home.
The defeat against Tongo Tongo left Dulis sitting on fifth position with 13 points, level with Gwanda Pirates and Chapungu, who are ahead on superior goal difference.
Fellow Beitbridge side Bishopstone continue singing the blues, struggling to secure maximum points after a narrow 1-0 defeat against the ZRP Gwanda at Phelandaba Stadium.
Bishopstone has registered five defeats, one victory and one draw in seven matches which highlighting a huge gap on meeting their preseason expectations and new season goals.
Elsewhere, Vhembe Stars Academy failed to win again as they were held to a 0-0 stalemate draw by Horn Mine at Freda in the Matebeleland South Division 2 Pool A.
The Beitbridge Trio will look to redeem themselves and find their winning rhythm in their next fixtures to secure better positions in their respective league tables.
