Police in Bulawayo have apprehended Thabo Dube in connection with a case of unlawful entry and theft at National Foods warehouse along Batch Street.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Dube and his accomplice, Mukhululi Ncube, who remains at large, broke into warehouse and stole several items including 88 sunhats, 26 work suits, three pairs of gumboots, and a welding machine.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed that Thabo Dube was arrested but Mukhululi Ncube managed to escape.
“Mzilikazi police officers on night patrol duties intercepted the suspects at Renkini Bus Terminus, arresting Dube while Ncube escaped.”
The case is ongoing and the police has promised to release more details as they emerge.
