Beitbridge side Vhembe Stars Academy failed to collect maximum points in the Matebeleland South Division 2 Pool A after they were frustrated to a 0-0 stalemate by Habane Pirates at Dulibadzimu Stadium in their second match of the campaign.
Following their 1-0 defeat against Jessie FC on Match Day 1, the debutants Vhembe are still struggling to find the back of net and haven’t scored in the league yet.
The Beitbridge outfit will hoping to secure their first win of the season against Horn Mine in match day 3. This will be a crucial time for the newbies to redeem themselves and kick start winning momentum, though it won’t be an easy game as they will be playing away from home.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe national U17 girls team is set to battle Botswana U17 girls at the COSAFA U17 championships in Windoek,Namibia today at 1500hours.
On the other hand, the Mighty Warriors U20 team is set to battle Rwanda in their return league on Wednesday as they hope to redeem themselves following a 2-1 defeat during the first leg played over the weekend.
