Zimbabwe’s men national football team, the Warriors are set to face Benin in match day 5 of the 2026 World Cup qualifying encounter at Moses Mabida Stadium in South Africa at 6pm today.
Following their 3-1 defeat against South Africa and 2-0 against Lesotho,the Warriors aim to establish a winning momentum , collect maximum points and revive their faltering campaign where they occupy the basement position with two points from 4 games.
The teams are going into this game with contrasting fortunes so far but both are eager enhance their qualification ambitions.However, today’s match is a must win for the Warriors as their chances are hanging by thread.
Elsewhere, Pasuwa ‘s Malawi will battle against Namibia while the Mambas of Mozambique will face Uganda at around 3pm.
Fans are expectant and their hope is Michael Nees and his boys will deliver a victory for the country against the cheetahs of Benin and breathe life into a campaign that is clearly on life support
