The illegal Zezani rank at the ZCC Church in Dulibadzimu was relocated to the Dulibadzimu Stadium area on July 7, 2026.
The rank had operated from the ZCC Church site for at least five years after flooding at the old Dulibadzimu bus terminus which forced operators to move from the original location.
The relocation has also affected local vendors, with many abandoning the ZCC Church area and moving their businesses to the new operating site at the Dulibadzimu Stadium area to continue serving travellers.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Municipality of Beitbridge Town Clerk, Loud Ramagqapola said the rank had been operating illegally since its relocation from the old Dulibadzimu bus terminus.
“The move to the Dulibadzimu Stadium area was intended to improve services for travellers by providing access to toilet and water facilities at the recently renovated Machembere Beer Hall Garden.”
He also said, the previous ZCC Church location did not have these amenities hence a plan had to be executed for the wellbeing of travellers.
