The Zimbabwean football fraternity has been plunged into mourning following the death of former Warriors and Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro.

Ndoro was reportedly found dead in his apartment in South Africa, sending shockwaves across the football community in both Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Orlando Pirates, where Ndoro made his name in the South African top flight, expressed their grief and extended condolences to his family.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former striker, Tendai Ndoro (2015–2017). The club extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time,” the Buccaneers said in a statement.

Ndoro enjoyed a prolific stint with Pirates before moving to Saudi Arabia for a spell with Al Faisaly FC. Over the course of his career, he also turned out for Cape Town City, Ajax Cape Town, and Highlands Park.
