Harare — The Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) has issued a strong condemnation regarding recent reports of alleged corruption within forensic pathology services.
In a press statement released today, the Ministry expressed deep concern over circulating social media claims suggesting misconduct and improper practices in the delivery of forensic pathology services across the country.
The statement emphasizes that the Ministry is committed to ensuring transparency and safeguarding the integrity of all health-related services.
“The Ministry strongly condemns all forms of corruption and urges anyone involved to desist immediately,” it reads. To promote accountability, the Ministry has advised that all payments related to forensic pathology services should be made exclusively at official cashier points, using transparent, respectful, and professional procedures.
Furthermore, the Ministry reassured the public and all stakeholders that it remains actively engaged in investigating these allegations thoroughly.
“We are committed to providing transparent, respectful, and professional forensic pathology services,” the statement concluded.
The government calls on the public and health professionals to report any suspicious activities and assures that appropriate measures will be taken to address any misconduct.
The investigation continues as authorities work to restore trust and uphold the standards of health services nationwide.
