The Zimbabwe senior men’s national cricket team is poised for an exhilarating challenge as it prepares to host Pakistan in a highly anticipated white-ball series commencing this Sunday, November 24.
Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza will lead as captains for the One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 Internationals, respectively.
The Chevrons arrived in Bulawayo on Tuesday and have swiftly commenced their training, holding two intensive practice sessions in the sweltering heat.
Kicking off this thrilling tour, the first One Day International (ODI) is scheduled for this Sunday at the historic Queens Sports Club. The series will feature three ODIs followed by three T20 Internationals, all taking place at the same iconic venue.
This series marks Pakistan’s first visit to the City of Kings and Queens in six years, with their last appearance at Queens Sports Club coming in July 2018.
The anticipation is as fans look forward to witnessing the return of the Pakistani side, who arrived at Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport in Bulawayo yesterday evening.
Leading the charge for Pakistan in the ODIs will be the experienced Mohammad Rizwan, while Salman Ali Agha will take the helm during the T20 matches. Both teams are expected to deliver thrilling performances, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
