Beitbridge’s latest fully registered media organisation, Ziyah Media scooped the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award at the prestigious Beitbridge Corporate and People’s Choice Awards held over the weekend, a recognition of it’s growth and development in a short space of time.
Led by its Director, Loadwell Ziyadumah, Ziyah Media has quickly emerged as a force in the media industry in the Border town. The media outlet recently registered with the Zimbabwe Media Commission as a media house, birthing an online News Network as one of the arms of its fledging business. The media organisation was also the official media partner of the award ceremony.
Ziyah Media boasts a diverse range of services that cater to the ever-evolving media landscape. From the new baby Ziyah News Network, to their expertise in electronic billboards, video filming, photography, live streaming, film production, and radio and TV advert shooting, the company has demonstrated its penchant for quality and response to the needs in the media market of Beitbridge and the rest of the country. Their work has not gone unnoticed.
“I am very happy about the award, it really came as a surprise and a shock to us, I never expected that we were going to have one. The award is not mine alone, but the whole team I work with. I am very happy that we have been recognised by the organisers and the community and I believe the award will push us to do better,” said Mr Ziyadumah, the Director of this emerging media house.
